Well it was you that did it, not us! Wink

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. After all, the emerald isle has a temperate climate.

As far as brand is concerned, I would suggest that either Paddy or Powers Gold would work equally well - though not when mixed with red lemonade......... Shocked

Omaha forgive me but why did you have to top it up as I believe your car is quite new?

Don't think you need to worry, but why did you have to top it up anyway?

To be that low, is a concern. Was it full or to the level on delivery?

As long as you've used the same generic type of antifreeze you should be fine - there are two types to my knowledge, OAT (organic acid technology - used on more modern engines but not exclusively) and the older style 'normal' antifreeze. Not having a D3 I don't know which it uses Embarassed

For a small top up you'll be fine Smile

That may be your answer, but certainly check it from now on until you know if it is OK or you may have a problem.

I topped mine up a few weeks ago and had to buy the coolant direct from an LR dealer as no where else stocked it. I wouldn't worry about it too much and unless the coolant you added was a completely different colour then LR will never know what you have filled it with.

Might it be that he's got the infamous "Low Coolant Level" message, which has nothing to do with the coolant being low in a lot of cases (mine included). Just a faulty sensor on the bottle, but dealers can't get hold of them at the moment.

Just a thought.

I am sure he said he had checked it and it was about 1 " low, but had not checked it on delivery.
