Ever needed to winch a trailer or caravan for any reason?
Well I did last weekend after the rains came.
Never tried this before but it worked like a charm.
I had to winch my caravan about 60 feet up a grassy slope.
I took the removable tow hitch off the back of the motor.
Using my shortening chain I made a choker loop and slipped it over the ball and ran it up the shaft until it came to rest against the shoulders of the section that fits into the rear cross member.
I then hitched it to the van, attached the winch cable and pulled.
Robert is yours mother’s brother, up she came, leaving no scars on the camping field.
Probably never need to use this technique again but it is lodged in memory banks.

Not off the shelf no.
Wonder if we could modify a Vigo bumper?! or maybe an L200 bumper. JJ
