| K & N Air Filter - will it help performance ? |

Having had a K & N on various cars I think that they are worthwhile - but looking at the 3000 miles I will cover with 1900kg on the back in the form of a tin tent next week is it worth me fitting one. I have a T.chip fitted and so I 'assumed' it would. Think that they are about fifty squid  D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

A K & N will allow the car to breath better , so you should get performance increase , but the better breathing also means that it does not filter as well , so I would watch out if you are going to be in dusty conditions.
For my 2c , I don't think the increase in performance - which is not that big , is worth the risk of increased engine wear
