Hi all,
I'd be grateful for any advice members can offer.
We're looking at buying a Disco 4 as an occasional car for family use. Holidays, camping, kids bikes, dog walks, in-law shuttle etc. Not planning on every day use so mileage for us will be limited. Would like HSE spec.
Are we better to buy a 59 plate with 80k miles for £23500 with comprehensive service being done prior to sale by independent 4x4 specialist where previous service history is not Landrover-approved or
Do we spend £30k on a 35k miles 60 plate with Landrover FSH, a service about to be done prior to sale and an AA inspection report provided?
Spending more seems to make sense although we may take a greater hit with depreciation but avoid some potentially unforeseen and nasty bills - thoughts please?

Depends really on what you're after.
When I was looking I was on the LR site to get the 2 year approved warranty.
I was only looking for the SDV6 with the 8 speed auto box which I believe is end of 2011 onwards.
Certainly some nice ones on here and if I hadn't gotten my FFRR then I'd be either in a SDV6 D4 from LR approved or I was looking at Russells car as i think he has extended warranty on his.

Pay more and get the 8 speed like Russell's as it is a massive difference. MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
