I'm sure that more than 26% of owners go 'off road'?
Mind you, you can use a Land Rovers capabilities to the full by towing, getting through the snow and packing full the vehicle without ever going 'technically' off road..
Still, not a bad turnout for Land Rover.2007 Porsche Boxster (987) 2.7

Can't believe that 7.4% of X3 drivers go offroad, that must include the pub gravel carpark or their drive.

or is it a "private road" as you drive along it to where you park??? In VA's case it has a filling station halfway along due to its length!!

To be frank, here in JHB we are offroad a lot more than you may think. Some of our roads (like the one past Leeuwkop) are so badly potholed I can only drive them in the D3

% Drivers who go off-road
Just to be controversial - frankly I can't understand why anyone would want to buy a 4WD if they are not planning to drive off road. There are plenty of vehicles that are nicer to drive on-road.
Cheers.

Can fully understand why they do, (and I do that as well) but I do go off road in mine, whilst one of my neighbours doesn't.

Carrying capacity. My folks D3 regularly carries 6 people plug bagage for week or two on holiday. I often carry bulky items that would not fit in an ordinary estate car so would have to hire a van.
