So decided to bite the bullet and treat the Disco to a set of ProSpeed tree sliders.
Arrived at 9.30 and met with Ben and the team, Ben drove the Disco straight into the workshop and they started work straight away removing my steps and sills.
I was provided with a cup of tea and had a great chat with the owner and several of the guys as they worked on various projects. I watched the full install from begin to end and two hours later all the work was complete.
I've added a few pictures below.
I've really have to say a big thank you to Ben and the team at ProSpeed for the Hospitality and great work fittimg the sliders...
Top Team.. Top Job

Just added the pictures...plus the word today from the team was that the steps are due in the next month
I also got the impression that they are well aware that there is a growing concern/need to get the steps out ASAP... but that was just my gut feeling.
btw... I never realised that they even changed the bottom rubber strip on each door so that it sits correctly on the actual slider..as the sill is no longer present.
Top, Top workmanship and quality.
Greg.... I damaged my side steps , cracked my windscreen and got serious brable rash on the green laning tripin the Lakes in early August, I remember your comments about me not off roading in the D4 when we were at at Buxton... you would have been proud of me
