Ebony leather & Straight grained walnut - pictures anyon

After much research and deliberation I have come to the conclusion that the 2008 LR3 is for me (it wasn't easy...). I am at the final stages of the process and I'm looking at the interior. I think that the Ebony leather & Straight grained walnut would look greatr but the dealer is advising against it as he believes it will be much too dark. I wonder if anyone knows if there are any pictures of this combination?

I agree it would be too dark. I think the cream leather looks better as the light lower dash and doors makes a better contrast with the black dash top and doors. When ever I have driven a black one it all seems to me more low rent.

As for the wood, in my view avoid . The disco is not a RR, putting wood in it makes it look like it wants to be and lets face it it fails.

Of course this is just a personal opnion and you should get whatever interior you like, its your car and money after all.
I used to hate 4x4's now I'm not so sure...

Very personal but when I chose (java Black) I needed a light-ish colour inside to lift it....Alpaca leather & walnut did it for me and contrary to popular belief, the alpaca is easy to clean , just needs a wipe with a 'baby wipe' and its clean......makes the car much more 'airey & bright' imho, especially with the triple glass roof

I personally prefer darker interiors, it makes me feel cosy and safe. (must be something to do with the power-cuts when I was a kid)

DD, your car is looking far too clean!!! Want to swap it for a grubby alpaca cloth interior to work that magic??

That photo was taken when the car was only 1 week old!

Mind you it has done 19,000 miles now (I know, I know) and still looks just as good.

I'm with DiscoDad on this one Black with Black & extra helpings of Black. Thumbs Up

But again, it's all down to personal preference. I'm sure your Alpaca with Java will be fine. Not sure about the trees in the car though.... Confused

Just hope the real wood is 100 x better than the plastic type. Please don't take this as a reflection of my tastes, the car already had them fitted.
