Insurance

Can anyone please help. I'm selling my 4 Commercial to a chap with his own Ltd Company. I currently have 5 Disco's on my fleet, 4 have Scotseat conversions and the one I'm selling is a straight commercial. Insurance for these is no problem, all netting out around £800 each with a £250 excess. I'm currently in the process of renewing the policy and early signs are indicating this price is very likely to drop. It sounds expensive but they are any driver and covered for full business use.

The chap I'm selling one of them to is struggling to get it insured for business use on his company policy for less than £1500 with a £500 excess. He wants to replace his Vito Dual liner with the Disco which was covered at £500.

Sounds a bit pricey to me. Anyone any thoughts??????

I went through this loop and ended up using the NFU albeit on my Disco 2 commercial.

It would be good to see where you end up... keep us posted. PS if you ever want to sell any of your Disco commercials PM me as I will be looking in April next year. Owning a Discovery 3 is like dating a model.. a firm body and shape, wow.. the ride is fantastic >Very Happy for this your wallet can take a pounding and you worry about being deflated at any time...
