Signed... (not yet delivered)

The deal is sealed.

And now to my questions:

1) GuardX: yes or no? Did not want to pay LR >£400, but thought someone might be able to recommend a valeting service, etc that is a bit more economical for the same job? (given that it's black, it might be worthwile)

2) any recommendation for GAP insurance?
3) worthwhile to consider tyre insurance?
4) how about protecting against chips, scratches, etc?

Haggle hard on GuardX or walk away and get it done elsewhere. I got mine for free.

Lots of research on GAP lead me to £364 for 5 years, unlimited mileage, full replacement value (not just return to invoice), fully transferrable, £50,000 maximum claim, on a car valued up to £75,000, at Car4Cover on 01438 870615

Forget about tyre insurance.

Get some mud flaps! Try not to hit stuff Laughing

Don't bother with guardx, had it on the wife's car. You have to keep topping it up yourself when the car is washed (easy enough) but it seems to wear off after a year to 18 months. You are better off paying to have it properly cleaned and polished once a year by a proper valet. This costs around £100-£150 so that easily out performs guard x

deal fell through

back on the search for that perfect disco
Simply did not see eye to eye with the dealership. Very unfortunate, as it was a nice car.

Changes with the dash - ie go into the trip computer Units and select miles and mpg Thumbs Up

SatNav

Is there a setting for the satnav to show the local speed limits?
Or is it just a matter of the satnav not being as advanced as in other cars?
