Alignment/warranty question
A neighbour has a 2013 MY D4 that has worn down the shoulder of the front near side tyre. Car has done 20,000 miles. The other tyres have worn evenly and still have life left in them. Should she be able to claim under the warranty for wheel alignment and perhaps a contribution to a new tyre?
Also she was planning to replace only 1 tyre - presume the suspension will throw faults if she doesn't replace at least 2 on the same axle?

I believe it's only covered under warranty for the first year or up to the first service. The reason given is that it's long enough to discover it if it came from the factory like that and if it's happened later then it's probably damage from hitting a pot hole too hard. MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price! - So good I bought another!
MY2012 D4 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - retired to a new home
