Tow Electrics - YWJ500201

Anyone know if this part is the same as YWJ500200 that is listed in the accessory brochure Question

It is just that I keep seeing this part number used by sellers on eBay, in conjunction with the Quick release tow bar Confused

Surely someone knows what the differences (if any) are between tow electrics - YWJ500201 & YWJ500200 Question

Jim, it might be the double wiring kit or it may be the new Euro 13 pin socket. Doubt if LR will know they just make it Confused

Jim,

YWJ500210 13 Pin Electrics
YWJ500201 'N' & 'S' Type Electrics, listed as YWJ500200 in older price lists so it's an older version though I don't know what the difference is, presumably the update fixes a minor problem

Two sockets

Ok, I'm about to pick up my new caravan next week and find the i've got two sockets, one black the other white. The black one appears to be for the normal van electrics (all be it modified for electric breaks on the van) but what is the white socket for, no one down here in Oz seams to know...

Normally the white or grey is for auxilliary power in a trailer or caravan.

The white socket is the auxiliary socket, for switched +ve supply (fridge supply, split charging supply etc), reversing lights and permanent +ve
It's generally known as a '12s' socket
