Belgian D3 Scotland
Tesco car park, South Queensferry. D3, Front Runner rack(?) RAI, 4 lightforces on the rack, rear ladder and loads of stickers from various "raids". May have just come off the ferry. Anyone from here?

Scottish D3 Belgium!
Glad no one spotted me - got the Expo rack caught in a car park height limit sign in Brugge and had to disentangle and reverse out I now know that it WILL go in 2.1m and WON'T go in 2.0m!
Not an easy place to park a D3 with rack for a day. Ended up feeding a meter as no one else seemed to be bothered about the parking regs!

I know the feeling In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
Yups, was me (with wife and kids)
You haven't seen the disco3-sticker on the rear window ? 8)
We were staying in Roslin at that time.
we're just back home ... and already looking forward to go back to Scotland
we went by train (chunnel) btw, lots of people advised us to try the boat-crossings, but with the kids being rather young we prefer to go drive all the way up through England.
@Alex
oh my, and the car park at the railway station ?D4
Disco4.com sticker
D3 11y, 425k km - sold, miss it though (MAR, DNK, NOR, SWE, SCO, WAL, MUD ...)

Had a look for you in the cafe but you'd gone by the time I came back out. Rosyth ferry is excellent (but pricey) but makes an excellent extra 2 nights holiday.

We use the Rosyth ferry a lot and have had good service from it. I have found it books up quickly tho and you are advised to book early.
DFDS from Ijmuden to Newcastle is a bit cheaper and arrives earlier but the drive north takes a bit longer, ya pays yer money/geld...

We came back on the Rosysth ferry - it is not that expensive when you consider 2 nights accommodation for 2, 2 full tanks of diesel and the lack of 1000m of driving to the south of England.
There were 4 D3s, 3 D2s and 2 Defenders on the ferry the other day. Anyone on here?
Thanks for the info about the car park Nessie - the station car park did look as if it would take the car (we went past it on the way out), but by the time it had been on the street overnight we decided just to feed the meter rather than move out of the centre and then have to come back in for the luggage! Lazy or what!
Oh - and I CAN work the satnav now! - after much grief in Antwerp and Austria, I think we are on speaking terms again!
