D4 collected
It's been a very long 6 weeks since we ordered our new HSE Lux but well worth the wait.
We collected from Lloyd Land Rover today and are delighted.
The whole family helped choose the specification but all SHMBO wanted was a heated steering wheel!
The kids got their TV and I got to pick the colour.

Not too keen on the door protecters to be honest..... bit OTT.... with tubes/steps just raise car to off road height in car parks ..... other than that looks great.. 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

How are you finding the rear entertainment? Does it do as expected? Just asking as we have optioned this and here there are no examples and dealer has not seen any either.

Thanks for all your comments chaps much appreciated.
I'm not sure about the rear entertainment so I've taken advice from independent experts, my 2 sons!
We had our previous D3 for 9 years so the kids don't know anything different than watching DVDs or playing games in the back of the car.
I've just asked them both how the two separate TV screens compare to the single screen roof mounted version. No Comparison! The picture quality is better and being able to watch free view while going to and from school is a winner.
But the biggest advantage to me is no more arguments about what they are watching because they can be controlled separately. [/i]D4 HSE Lux,corris grey.

Thanks. Also door protectors, they do as described, have reduced the door hit damage considerably (from others).

We've only had one Disco and it came with door protectors, but after 9 years all the door panels were perfect. I don't know if it was good luck or good design.
A new car will keep you fit because you'll park as far away from others as possible!D4 HSE Lux,corris grey.
