Hi,
Just had fitted a set of 265/70/17 General Grabber AT2's fitted to my car. Haven't tried them out yet but will report back when I have. Have to say they do look the job.

That's one chunky tyre, just over 1.5" taller than the 235/70/17. Your speedo is going to be out a bit, possibly under-reading by about 5%, but not enough to cause any real problems. Good tyres though; they seem to do the business in most situations. 8) I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Thanks for the tip on the speedo, hadn't thought about that. Can the dealer recalibrate?

I've only done about 6 miles but I couldn't detect any rubbing. The guy who fitted them said he was a little worried about it becuase they were so much larger than the original tyres but he checked them all out and said he was happy they were fine.

Not sure about speedo recalibration. 10forcash may know. Sure he'll be along soon. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
