Welcome back, make sure you post some photos up when you get it, the only other thing I would say is get a RLD spare wheel protector
I bought a new D4 se tech in July 2015, I have emailed this dealer 3 times in the last month with a query concerning the fuel burning heater, and am still waiting for a reply. I am out of the country until March next year . I also emailed land rover , coventry I had a reply from them , which was not very helpfull. The dealer in Shrewsbury, would this be the the well known one also with a branch at Ludlow ? Not very happy with the back up after spending what to me was a lot of money on a car that is fitted with an extra that I am unable to use.

Land Rover and their dealers do not give a stuff what you paid for your vehicle. Their attitude is if you wanted a certain feature, you should have specced it at build. Ive faced this with my built to order 2014 vehicle when I wanted to enable xenon headlights and fit a reverse camera and activate timed heating.
There are ways around it but ultimately would probably void your warranty if you came to call on it later. Not that the warrant is worth the paper it's written on anyway when you try to claim for a £50.00 bit that has fallen off for no apparent reason other than it must have been faulty or poorly fitted! Bunch of thieving, lying arses, all of them.
This car came in from land rover the week that I visited the show room, I looked at a 3 year old one ,but when I looked under the car it was as rusty as old iron so i went for the new one, Its got all the extras and more that i wanted, not too bothered about the fuel burning heater as we spend 6 months in Spain during the winter But as it is fitted I want to have it working from the touch screen as , according to the owners handbook it should, not according to land rover though they told me I have to buy a remote to be able to use it I am looking forward to taking the car back on my return to the UK to rattle their cage, also a visit to trading standards as the hand book says one thing ,land rover say another, we shall see.Other wise I am very pleased with the car.

Depending on the spec you have purchased it may not have timed heating for the FBH, the manual has all options fitted to all cars so there will be other things in there that are not fitted to your particular car depending on spec. If it doesn't have timed heating on the centre screen it can be enabled with a diagnostic tool but I'm pretty sure Land Rover dealers wont be able to do this for you but there are many forum sponsors can. The forum sponsors can also supply and fit the timed remote option if you wish. If you need further help it would be better to start a new thread instead of taking DMG's thread off topic Cheers Ian

Thanks for all the posts, even the off topic ones, I've had the car two weeks now and have to say it has surpassed all my expectations, Shrewsbury LandRover have been easy to deal with so far.
