| Lister Land Rover Droitwich Main Dealer - Any Dealings |

Anyone out there had any dealings with Listers main dealers in Droitwich? I Won a D4 HSE 20 inch split multi spoke alloy on eBay off them on Monday at a very very cheep price. My plan is to use it as a full size spare. My dad was in the area so dropped in to pick it up and pay for it. Only to be made to wait for 45 minutes and then told it had been misplaced whilst the salesman smiled and chuckled whilst he told my father this. I've since found out from them that it's been put on another customers car and they can't get it back. They have sent me a message apologising and are going to contact me to try and resolve the issue and offer compensation just wondered if anyone's dealt with them??

they couldnt really be arsed when I went in looking to buy a brand new D4, so a cheap wheel isnt going to get much air time.
All you can do is leave negative feedback on ebay - not much else, as an ebay seller doesnt have to offer anything if they dont want to.

in this case they are just an ebay seller - no different from any other company that chooses to use ebay as an outlet - yes, they have a level of reputation that you would expect to be higher than possibily an individual seller might have, but that isnt always the case (quite often its the reverse of that)

Bit of a update.
After a conversation at lunch time the dealership apologised a lot then offered me a set of rubber mats for my D3 worth £100 as compensation. I politely told them I didn't want mats and wanted the wheel I'd won. They told me it had been sold by mistake by the sales team and couldn't get it back. I said that if they couldn't get that wheel I wanted a new one for the same price. They said they could get a wheel at cost and sell it to me for that. I told them to take the £100 off the cost price and to come back to me. They then rang my father to apologies to him and explain the situation. I then received another call at 5pm where they told me they were ordering a new wheel which would be delivered by their driver the next day to my home address and all I have to do is pay the £77 I won it for and they'd swallow the rest. So at the moment they things are looking ok.
