Evening peeps. I've a 2011 D4 HSE and for years I've been happily using the FBH on its timer, but this morning it didn't work, no messages or faults shown.
Was -5c and with half a tank.
While driving I noticed the usual Timed Climate button on screen was greyed out but after pulling over and turning off and on again, it came back as available.
Now it's gone again, any thoughts on what I can check please ?

Worth checking the codes, for whatever reason the FBH may be locked out, lost comms or similar? -------------------------------------------------------------------

You guys are so lucky…. there is no FBH in north america, for obvious reasons.
And I’m eccentric enough to own a vehicle with 2 tanks to support such a privilege.
The only diesel heater I own is on the sailboat and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Apologies for the hijack but couldn’t help myself.
At looking at the shop manual, if there are no codes… (not even a B1D29-93) is this a low battery situation?

Diesel heaters are pretty simple, really; electrical signal to start, combustion air flow, fuel, fire.
Its these added controls and safeguards that complicate the processing… you need the codes to pinpoint the few stop points. 2015 LR4 HSE Lux Aintree Green
