Omaha - D3 TDV6 S Commercial [Ireland]
Hello everyone, I took delivery of my new Discovery TDV6 S on friday last. Fantastic machine, very different from the Audi A4 i traded in. Its the commercial model so i only pay 50 Euro VRT compaired to almost 20 grant id have to pay if i got the estate version. We really do get ripped off here in Ireland when it comes to buying cars.
Great site by the way, it gave me lots of valuable info before ordering my Disco.

Hi Coffeecup,
Its only has the 2 front seats and the windows behind the b pillar are tinted and have a panel on the inside. the floor of the boot is extended right up ti the front seats, no outside changes.
I'm self employed so apart from the VRT (vehicle registration tax), i can claim the vat on the car and diesel. Makes alot of sence, lots of people do it here. Probably will get the estate in a few years though, when i have kids.

Hi BN,
I'll take a few at the weekend, will have to give it a wash, bit mucky at the moment, not even a week old, depressing.
I think landrover modify them for the irish market. That is what they did with the Disco 2 so i assume its the same for the Disco 3.

The Irish commercial conversions are normally done in Ireland after the vehicle is imported. This is not a Land Rover "commercial" in the true sense of the word, though I expect that they will be doing them - as they have with the previous Discovery models.

No Martin its a private sale in Sussex. One of the magazines did a write up last year on it. £16,500. The only RHD LR made NAS. I seem to recall it was a SV project for South Africa. Looks good 8)DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
