Glyn Woodage I believe I believe Guy Harwood owns it but I don't think he's part of the day to day. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Thanks for that Polyma. I had found Mr Woodage's name of Linkedin but wasn't sure how up to date the profile was.
Eightfoot.....My particular tale of woe goes back to when we ordered a brand new D4 last year. To cut a long story short, a few weeks prior to the scheuduled delivery Harwoods informed me that they could no longer supply the vehicle as the colour and spec we had ordered had been removed by LR for the MY16 spec. This shouldn't have been a problem as our vehicle was due for delivery before MY16 builds commenced in June. We eventually, accepted a different colour vehicle with a few options we didn't want, but for the same price.
From the issue above and on every visit to them since (for new car snagging under warranty) they have been amateur across the board. Such as, agreeing to provide me with a loan vehicle then to be told when I get there the loan vehicle was not ready and would be delivered to me at home late that evening. Nice of them to drop & collect, but a wasted afternoon off work for me in the first instance.
They lost my owner / service book that I took in as they had not filled it in when we collected the vehicle. It took them 2+ months for a replacement to be found. This involved constant chase up emails from me to the service manager.
The lastest incident today involved the vehicle being in for a few service actions to be completed. I have my car professionally detailed inside and out at great expense. I have OCD about such things but it floats my boat. The advice from any professional detailer is to not let a dealer anywhere near your car with a jet wash etc as they will undo all the good work done by the detailer. So, I laminated a few A4 cards using a massive font asking that the vehicle was not to be cleaned inside or out. I also told the service fella who, to be fair, made a note of my request on the paperwork. Both laminated cards left in very prominent position inside the car.
Collecting the car this morning I drove past it in the dealer car park and felt a sense of relief as it was still as dirty as it was when I left it with them yesterday. Got the keys and paperwork for work completed (which I had to specifically ask for! WTF!) and opened the car up to see it had been valeted inside and the carpet was still wet as there was condensation on all windows! Aaaagh! I grabbed the DONT CLEAN ME cards and stomped back into the service guy and apologising to their latest customer / victim I asked the service guy how much clearer can I make it!? I then did one as I was close to throwing some into him.
But, apart from that Harwoods Crawley are great. MY15 D4 SDV6 HSE Corris Grey - Gone

His brother Simon left, but certainly just before Christmas Glyn was the chief. I always found them decent enough people and if you get the deal you want it wouldn't put me off buying a car from them. I dealt with Pulborough for years but didn't get the deal I wanted for my last car so went to Grange LR at Barnett. Guava at Guildford do my servicing work.
