Hi,
It is highly likely that I will be putting in an order for a new D4 commercial in the next month, before the models change.
Is there anything that people have regretted not adding as an option on this model, or something that you have added that you could not be without?
Annoying that you cant get the arm rests with out electric seats, so in essence the arm rests are going to cost 800 quid...
Also, are the moulds in the rear windows the same as in the passenger row windows or are they permanently solid?
any thoughts much appreciated.

There was a thread earlier this week stating that the last two build slots had been taken so you may be too late  Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
Previously:

I've just called into my own dealer and asked the same question. It turns out that they have 5 orders for commercials and no build slots remaining. The dealer is trying to persuade LR to convert unallocated passenger car build slots into commercial ones, but they are still awaiting an answer.
I wish LR would do what Volvo used to do and continue to build the old alongside the new, sometimes for many years.
Dealer is surprisingly quiet this morning though... 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4
2017 to date: FFRR SDV8
2023 to date: 2 x FL2 as “second” cars 🙄
2021 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200
2022 to date: Hinckley built ‘14 Triumph Trophy 1200 & sidecar!
(One of only two known to exist in the world!)

still waiting for a call back from two local dealers, hopefully will have an answer tomorrow either way.
hopefully there will be something that can be done!

Duckworths have ordered some stock vehicle I believe as they are anticipating strong demand as the model runs out. Maybe worth a call for anybody wanting one.

Stratstone's of Northampton have a new, unregistered, Commercial sat outside the showroom... Well, it was certainly there on Tuesday when mine was in for service.
Knowing the robbing so and so's, they won't be in a rush to offer any discounts but it might be with a call - speak to Olly or Dan

I ordered mine about a month back from Ridgeway in Oxford and they had 2x unregistered stock vehicles available (although neither were what I was looking for so factory ordered). Hope this helps
