Request for Part No. Front Towing Cover Clips
Hello Chaps.
Schoolboy error Ordered some of those annoying twist and lock clips for the rear towing cover assuming that the would fit the front cover (where I have one missing).
How stupid of me to think LR would use the same part number front and rear
Can I have please the part number for the FRONT towing cover assembly twist and lock 'screws' (noting they are not really screws). They are slighter fatter and longer than the rear ones
Thanking you in advance."Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

I will be broke buying these stupid clips for a £1 each - I bought a few internal trim clips from Dan at Duckworth a few weeks ago with some of the them at £1-85p each We laughed about it at the time. I'm in the wrong business (as usual)
I bet they cost tuppence to make "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Thank you but that would be would be falling for the same trap 8)
They are the rear ones (which I bought) but the front ones are fatter (slightly) and longer (again slightly)
There must be another part number for the front
The search goes on............................... "Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

I bought the retainers with the above part no. for my front cover and the original clips fit so I thought they would be the correct ones.

Rear 1/4 turn "clip" is DYR500010 and the front 1/4 turn "pin" is LR012844. Did exactly the same as you and ordered up the DYR500010 thinking it was universal.
