Ahh ok. Sorry I miss understood. I Thought you had replaced both. Did you replace with a good brand? It’s odd to have a such particular small spots. Try and get the bulb swapped and if it re appears, you know it was you and not the bulb 😂.Craig.

The dark area only ‘arrived’ when this new bulb was fitted.
So I assume the issue is with the bulb.
But it’s the first time I’ve bought and installed a D3S bulb so thought I’d tap into the collective wisdom for advice!
Halfords are very good on returns, take it back along with these photos and possibly with a photo of the old ones, it’s always best to change them in pairs as they do loose output with age.
I would have fitted two new LEDs instead as they are cheaper, give more light, last longer and use less power! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I think it's probably time for me to do this. Can you recommend the right LEDs please - D4 2016.

Would be interested to see what LED bulbs people have tried also. Am nearing 3 years with my current bulbs (OSRAM xenarc D3S), which is when I feel they need changing

thanks for the input.
Happy to fit a pair of LEDs instead, but would appreciate a recommendation before I purchase.
