sidesteps what is a reasonable cost fiited ?
Hl All,
Picked up the Disco 4 last weekend and really woukd like some sidesteps fitted , I have seen various costs from 279 to 645 just for the steps aftermarket and original respectively
What would be a reasonable price to pay for a pair plus fitting and does anybody know a suitable establishment in or around East Lancs ?
£100 off eBay and DIY about an hour for first side and 20 minutes the second. So more than £200 is unfair.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Had these fitted to mine recently and they're just the job for my kids and folks.

It's really for the old queen her knees are knacked and she's struggles even in access height
It's steps or a ramp and in the back but then I would need to buy a scooter too (joke)

Got mine from LR centre in Liverpool and fitted myself took about 2 hours in total have a look on you tube for clips on how to do it but it's straight forward just a lot of rolling around on the floor.

Found the vid on YouTube now I just need the big dry garage
Cheers it looks very doable in the vid
Save one of those big shiney cardboard boxes that everything seems to come in these days. Slit it down side to open out to a sheet. When rain goes off put it shiney side down and you can lie in the dry. Off road height helps!A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. From my experience I haven't found a reliable version of any electric retractable sidesteps, even gen landrover ones for the Range Rover are just a pain. Even when working, you are often out the door before the have come out! But most of the time they are jammed, seized etc.
The standard aftermarket Britpart/Allmakes ones seem good quality.

Shame really , they are for the old queen and would be a good compromise to having none , think ill just get the 100 quid common bolt ons and a yard brush l for the snow lol
Opening a door removes the snow. Some of the brush type draught excluder could be added to door finishing strip if you need a very clean sweep.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill.
