What on earth should I do?!
I'm panicking.
Hovis will be 3 April 2017.
I need a commercial D4.
Oh what to do....
I dare not keep a LR longer than the warranty!
However, if Hovis goes now (there are only TWO commercial
Build slots left!!!!) I could end up in a new old car....
BUT nobody can tell me if the commercial will be available in the new new car.
Arghhhhh.
I don't know what to do. Get rid or hope the new model will feature a commercial that we can have delivered before April 2017.

I've not used them myself, but people on here speak highly of Warranty Direct. It's not a LR warranty but it's good. You also have the option of extending the LR warranty...
My 3yr old D4 is behaving itself and I've decided not to get a warranty until into its fifth or sixth year. Early days for me as a D4 owner so I'll see how it goes.D1 300Tdi - gone
D2 Td5 ES (Alive remapped...mmm) - sadly gone
D4 2012 SDV6 XS - Stolen
D4 2014 SDV6 HSE - Shiny
Can't recommend Warranty Direct highly enough. Mine is covered by them, has been for 3 years now and just renewed for a further 2 years, SWMBOs old D3 was with them and her new one will also be getting covered by WD when she's 3. LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I asked one of the LR Staff at the Hibernot last week about a D5 commercial and he said that he'd been told that the commercial would not be built in D5 format and that one of the new Defender model range would cover that slot.
Never take life too seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.

Extend your LR warranty with LR - assuming that the mileage is less than 100k. Whilst the WD warranties are good, the LR warranty also provides MOT cover. This means that provided you get your MOT done before the service then any items on which it fails are covered - this has (for me) included suspension items, brake callipers etc. Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
Previously:
TD5 Defender 110 CSW (230k miles)
300TDi Disco 1 (289k)
4 RR Classics (300-350k each, 2 manual, 2 auto)
110 V8 CSW (220k)
S3 109 hi cap pickup (ex RN)
S2A 88 Safari SW with lpg conversion (bloody lethal)

Bag one of the two build slots left, as above no one expects a D5 commercial then worry when the warranty expires.Displaced Yorkshireman.

MOT cover is included with WD depending on the policy/vehicle.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I've provisionally ordered a Loire Blue new commercial for delivery on March 1st.
Have put just about every extra in the brochure on it too.
Guess I'll confirm it tomorrow.
My Dad is treating himself to a new Graphite.
