Counting down the days... |
|
I fully appreciate the off road capability of these Discoveries. It's really quite staggering how good they are. But I'm counting down the days until my wife and I do our annual trip across France to Italy. We've done the journey a couple of times in a Freelander 2 and have found the car extremely comfortable and relaxing. To do it in a car with such a smooth and progressive power delivery, even more comfortable seats and a bigger boot (= more lovely wine and things to transport back) I'm very much looking forward to.

I drove down to Spain in my D4 (and brought back lots of lovely Rioja!). It's great for long trips like that, might be going to Poland in it later this year. *now enjoying* D5 Namib Orange HSE 68

Oh super. I would very much like to tour some of the Rioja vineyards at some point. This year its Burgundy and Piedmont (and a quick trip to Majestic in Calais on the way back).
