My New (To Me) D4
Hi all! So this is my first opening post!
Well I've joined the club and bit the bullet and bought a MY10 D4 GS and absolutely love it. We live in the Forest of Boelsnd so ideal truck for out here (traded in the wife's 2005 Astra).
Picked her up back end of Jan, 72k on the clock and overall excellent condition and quite a bargain. I honestly cannot believe we haven't bought one sooner.
I've had it into the local Indy for a full check over as bought from a none LR garage who didn't have a clue!
Cheers
Andy

It's definitely been a long time coming, so much more practical for our lifestyle, living in the sticks with dogs and children! Slightly different to our V40 but can't have 2 buses that drink fuel (I do around 30k a year) getting 28mpg in the D4 and 54 in the V40!! The D4 makes me smile more though!

I came to my D4 from a diesel Honda Accord, so I do miss the 50+mpg, but that's all and after 2 years that's a distant memory now Andy

Ha, goes with the territory I suppose, still need to have 2 cars so fortunately I get to keep the V40! The wife gets the D4 in the wk
