Crap lights is one thing, but I draw the line at "Ring" lights http://www.mm-4x4.com/index.asp?function=D...uctid=2490 Shocked

Ring? Crap? Geddit? Embarassed

No, Iain has saved me from making a terrible mistake by bringing Lightforce hope to my life Thumbs Up

Do you mean plastic as in the existing plastic front of the D3 headlights? Whistle

Pretty much on a par with the Warns, go for Lightforce unless you can afford to splash out on HIDs (and if you can Lightforce do some Rolling Eyes ) The End

Why would I want glass? Have you seen the abuse lightforce lenses will take?

Embarassed Buy cheap, keep on buying.....

I'd be very interested to see how much light 4 x 140s on the roof will kick out. Obviously less than the bigger lamps but still worthwhile I would hope. Wonder if I would be better off getting 2 x 240 XGTs on the bumper instead Confused

As with all these things, it's down to personal taste, and long live that..... In my most humblest opion the Hella's look far tidier and smarter than the LF's on the G4 rack. I'll just assume others disagree to save all that posting... Smile

It'd be a bit boring if we all had the same Wink

ND - I'll have 4 140's on the rack soon (hopefully tomorrow). I'll get some pics done.

I've removed the shroud/air dam from the front of my Expo rack and plan on mounting any lamps on a bar/bars extending forward from the underside of the rack. The 140s appeal on size, but the extra inch on the reflectors of the 170s (and the more powerful lamp) make a hell of a difference in light output.

Hmmm, perhaps 2 x 170s with wide angle covers on the outside and two with spot covers in the middle....

Look forward to seeing the pics Stu. Thumbs Up

the only small thing that I slightly dislike about the LF's is that damn great 'Lightforce' emblem across the front but I suppose that could be removed?

If I could be ar$ed of course... Smile

I prefer the look of Warns on the expo rack and love the High / Low switch although its not High / Low Embarassed

I had LR ones on mine and although the light was good they were just to big.

Now I've changed to a Front runner rack and took the opertunity to change to light force as for out put CT has upgraded the bulbs in his perhaps an option?

BTW I'd love HID ones just cant justify it to myself

Also was bidding on the Warns as I'm gonna bulid / rebuild something soon
