It does look smart XTC no getting away from that ...it would be a dull world if there were no competition 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
I think 170s are the answer. They don't look too large, which is what I was worried about. Now to see what magic Ten can work I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I have four Warn spots on mine, not wired just plugging the expo holes to cut wind noise down until I fit (I need to do some bodging) some different ones. Agree with Ken, they do look nice on the expo rack, and with the silver styling fit in well have a nice OEM feel to them on my silver D3. Mustn't get too used to them - they're not lightforces but - but if they do the job you want / need and fit the £££ then D3 HSE V8...
Page 127 of October's LRO Magazine are doing a comparision between 28 different makes of lights. They recommend Warn SDB-160HB and Lightforce RMDL140.

My dislike of any of the lights (inc Hella!!) is that they stick up over the top of the rack. Looks like 2 frogs on the roof!
Think this is not the ideal look, and must add to wind noise and drag. I am moding the rack to drop the lights 2" to bring the top of them inline with the top of the rack. I have made new lower mounts and recessed the lights into the bottom extrusion. Have not finished yet but here's the (stupid..) project so far. The gap in the extrusion will be filled with expanding foam, trimmed and sprayed black.
It will either look jolly sexy when finished, or more likely I've just trashed an expensive roofrack! If it's good I'll post some pic's, if $hite I'll keep quiet..
