New suspension compressor
So, bit the bullet and ordered a new compressor (ordered Monday, here SW France Wednesday! Well done Advanced Factors!).
Is there anything I should do rather than just bolt it in, plug in the pipes and electrics and start up? Specifically thinking that if the air system is drained then the pump may struggle to bring it back to opperating pressure.
Any advice grearfully recceived.

Coming back up to pressure will be fine. You might just see a "Suspension Raising Slowly" message on the dash, but that's all.

Are you changing a Hitachi to AMK?
If so a new relay and software update are required.

The new one is an Hitachi according to the invoice and the part number matches the old one (less than 12 months old) so I assume that they are the same.
The old unit worked fine for about 10 months and the this saga began....
I've fitted the unit and it is doing nothing! Except not making the high pitched whine (see my previous posts) which I guess is progress in that at least I have got rid of that problem.
The display reads "coming up to height too slowly", (in French!) and then does nothing.

Thanks for that but I am now an expert at taking this unit off. 5 mins usually!
