er... yeah, your problem with criticising the D3 for no effing reason but your blighted and short sighted view of the D3.

Am I missing something? Can't see the criticism. Or is it elsewhere?

I may be putting this 07 LR3 up for sale to whoever fins it comfortable. maybe I'm just not built right for the car but I would get another D2 2004 SE/HSE and have it modified or just go with some diesel like a Tourag or wait for a full size Diesel range rover.
oh, whoever buys rover ought to make the interior worth $55k and have some choices/options in the US!!!
Will your asking price be affected by the fact that the car stink in many ways and that handling is weird 8)
Cheers

Mr. West is fully entitled to his opinion of the D3 ...but I struggle to understand how the vehicle was upgraded to that extent, only then to find out he didn't like it 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

well.....without setting Simon off, I have to agree with his comment about seating position/comfort, 'cause after 20 months and 36k miles with my S spec, I also think the D2's seating position (to window sill/pedals/wheel) was more comfortable. I still get aches in my right knee, even after a shortish journey. Dont get me wrong, i love my D3 in all but this one thing.

Also at the risk of pouring petrol on the flames I have some sympathy wrt comments about the quality of interior materials. They are neither 'luxury' - nor in my opinion should they be - nor especially practical or durable. The plastics used feel cheap and, in my experience quite easy to scratch. I don't give the interior a particularly hard time - kids and usual associated rubbish- but the load area ond passenger compartment surfaces are too easily marked.
It's a great car, and if I had to replace it tomorrow I'd probabaly get another one (esp with a diesel V8, performance is an issue). That doesn't mean it's perfect and by voicing views on what could be improved we might end up with an even better product!

My feelings are that with that much "serious off road" kit your market will be reduced to a mere fraction of a stock car. I think your price will have to reflect this by being a bit of a steal. Take into account the shipping costs etc, I'll offer you £500.

I don't care that it stinks of burgers, I look like I eat too many anyway. In fact I have been working on the American look so that the seats more comfortable. FFRR 2017 4.4SDV8 Autobiography. Cost so much I must be mad!
