Fitted a few accessories - but have a small issue...

It rained all weekend here (it's not often I'd swap the weather for the UK but last weekend I would!). That did not stop me going to see The Offspring at an outdoor gig on Saturday, but killed my gardeing plans for the weekend.
So i finally got round to fitting a few bits to my LR4.
All went on with a moderate amount of swearing until the eBay roof rails. I could not get the roof bars to fit.
After trying every combination I ended up having to file down the roof bar feet slightly to get them to fit. I blame the Chinese copy roof rails - they looked like a bargain but the quality (to my mind) is commensurate with the price....
I think she looks pretty spiffy - here's a couple of quick shots I took at lunchtime down by the Great Salt Lake.
I fitted the old extended ladder from my LR3 and it became glaringly obvious rear camera / ladder interaction is not ideal
It is what it is - I'll just have to live with it.
So I'm leaving the Expo rack off for now as it hurts already poor fuel consumption (16 to 14 mpg in the old motor).
Further plans include driving lights, new chunky rubber when these tire need replacing and lift.

25c and wall to wall blue up here in the Heelands today. Shame summer is only 2 days long.
