Strange..

Hello everyone,

Since a week my left taillight and the front little park light (how do you call that in english) don't work anymore.
I had some problems with the park light because it went out so now and then, I replaced the w5w fitting but it doesn't resolve the problem. And now my left tailight and license plate light are not working also.
I checked the fuse in the back and replaced it although it was not broke, but still nothing.
The brake and direction indicator works fine.

Who can help me with some advise.

Thanx in advance.

Greets!!

Yep, all those lights are off the same fuse in the central junction box (behind glovebox), 10 amp, number 4 I think.

You have blown the fuse that operates the number plate illumination and left hand side lights ( it's the same fuse ).
From memory, it's fuse 4 in the passenger side footwell on a RH drive car. Sorry, no idea where it is on LH drive vehicles.

It usually blows because when slamming the tailgate, the bulbs work loose in the number plate illumination under the tailgate handle, and cause a short popping the fuse. Wink
