I had some light scratches on my plastic door mirror surrounds and I used Jif(Cif) on a soft cloth and very lightly polished them, it got rid of them. But you really do need to go lightly.

Got rid, well masked, mine with a small tub of silicone back to back bumper care type stuff. Wipe on wipe off for a matt finish or leave for a while and dry for a polished look.
Wipe on wipe off worked for me and once clean and like new, seems to hide the scratches well. "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

...Ive seen very light scratches masked on internal panels using black carbon paper rubbed onto them...
it fooled Nissan, BMW & Land Rover !
How long the mask works I don't know - but it does take away the unsightliness
Bigger dings can be fixed by specialist companies BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
