Which front brake pads?

Following on from my which disc thread, advice appears to be fit genuine pads. Question is, which genuine pads?

Does anyone know the difference between LR051626 (approx. £105) and LR032063 (approx. £75), other than £30 before someone mentions it Very Happy

Thanks, David.

Advice on original pads is now out-of-date. TRW low dust pads are the way to go - better in all regards.

I get mine from Advanced Factors. Don't let the low price put you off!

Robbie, so Genuine discs and TRW pads is the preferred combo now?

I have TRW low dust pads with TRW discs on my D3 and have been very pleased with them so far, both from Advanced Factors.

The TRW pads are a no-brainer but their are mixed opinions regarding discs. I'd be happy with the original Brembo discs or TRW whilst others only fit Brembo. I know some fit others (eg Borg & Beck) but I have no experience of them. Indeed, when it come to brakes I rarely deviate from OEM parts - the TRW pads are an exception (although I hear rumours that these will appear on future JLR vehicles).

Cheers, David.
