Blue smoke post major service.

Hi

I've just had the 112000 mile service done at a LR main dealer and whilst driving home noticed quite a plume of blue smoke when I accelerated hard.

I have since been to Coventry and back this weekend (about 400 miles) and have noticed that it generally occurs at about 2500 - 2800 revs, but not every time I hit those revs, which I assume points to the secondary turbo drain mod being required. Is there anything else which could cause this? I noticed from the service schedule that Mobil oil was used rather than the usual Magnatec.

Has anyone had the turbo Mod done at a main dealer if so what will I expect to pay? Also can anyone recommend an independent LR specialist in south east Kent who may carry out the mod??

Thanks for any help/info given.

Yes I have. Labour was £133, (think it was about £95/hr when I had it done) and parts £63, all prices before VAT.
