| 1st Service Tire Rotation |

I just had my 1st service (7,500 miles) and I was surprised to find out that the tires don't get a rotate. I just talked to the dealer and was told 'since the LR3 is full time 4wd rotating doesn't do anything'. They rotate every other service.
1) Does this make sense?
2) Is this just a LRNA thing or is this LR 'policy'? 2007 LR3 HSE - Zermatt Silver

mines had two services here in the UK, 15000 and 30000 miles, and neither time have the wheels been rotated.

Just had my second service and the tyres were not rotated at either service. 1996 Discovery 1 300TDI ES Biarritz Blue, sold

does it not say something in the manual about not rotating tyres? end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

Manual says every other service - like dealer says. But I found this a bit odd since most other vehicles I've owned including other SUV's  normally have a tire rotation at around 7,500 miles.
A rotation just makes sense to me to promote overall even wear of the tires. Maybe LR's are different in that respect? 2007 LR3 HSE - Zermatt Silver

It so bleedin heavy its road surface wear that more of a problem. Dont tell you local authority you've got one, they'll want to tax you more.
