Disco3 in Kiev
I was on holiday in the Ukraine, in the Crimea and Kiev, last month. SUVs seem to be abundant there but mostly Japanese and BMW. Land Rover was more noticeable for its absence.
I saw a few Range Rovers, a couple of Defenders and one or two Freelanders. Not a single Disco, though, modern or older.
Well, that's not quite true - I did see a Disco3 on a billboard, so at least LR is trying to sell them. I'm not sure what you get for your €48,000 (in Germany the TDV6 S costs €38,500, the TDV6 SE €43,300 and the TDV6 HSE €48,300).
I've stuck a photo of the billboard in my gallery (could I have linked it in here somehow - didn't manage to work that out?).
On my travels from Sicily to the Ukraine, I only saw one Disco3 (either in Sicily or maybe Istanbul). There were a good number of Disco IIs in Sicily (the police had lots standing around in Trapani when the America's Cup started there). The Freelander seems to be very popular with Sicilians too.
