Just fitted the iPod Integration Kit (ACM) to my 08 XS. Works more or less as expected although not a patch on the proper Dension ICELink I had in my TD5.
Problem: The manual says the iPod should pause when I de-select AUX on the radio or switch off the ignition. Mine just keeps playing. It only goes into pause once the ignition has been off for a while (and that is just the iPod doing what it should when you 'eject' it). Dose anyone else with the ACM experience this with their iPod?
By the way, instead of mounting the iPod beside the steering wheel where it is a 10 second job for any passing yob to steal, I dismantled the cubby box, removed the telephone cradle mount and fitted the iPod there instead - luckily Bluetooth works well in the 08 model. Fits perfectly, pleanty of space below the aircon controls to mount the interface unit and I can access it easily if needed.

I've the ACM fitted and mines does not pause either. It only pauses when you switch off the ignition.
Pause would be handy, especially when you get a call as its a bit annoying when singing to my favourite spice girls song, only to find is moved onto the next track when tyhe call is finished

Thanks for the replies. Seems that mine is performing as well as can be expected! I'll take a few pics when it gets light tomorrow and have a go at uploading them.
I'm in Troon on the on the Costa Clyde (well Loans actually which is just outside Troon) and I happen to have a handy pub across the road.

Wiggs, they can cure that on the NHS!!! Just ask for Nursie.
Got one fitted to my RRS and it dosnt pause either, infact when I frist picked up the car from the dealer it never worked at all and after 20 mins of trying to get it to work along with the salesman (techs had gone home by then) the battery went flat and I couldnt get the car to start so they jump-started it and low and behold the ipod worked
can select next and previous tracks and that is all it will do
Mine didn't work at first either, neither did my friends in his new Freelander! Got it working after taking out the Ipod, cycling the radio and trying again - no problems since apart from the no pause design flaw.
Here is a picture of the Cubby Box install, more in my gallery:
While I was at it I mounted my phone on a KUDA holder:
Got it direct from http://www.kuda-phonebase.de/start.php?id=2 and fitted a standard Sonyericsson holder to it then spliced a power cable onto the left hand 12v outlet below the A/C controls.
