Go to first unread post within a topic

Is there an option on the site that when I click on a topic, it takes me to the first post that I have not read within that topic? Currently it takes me to the first post within the topic which isn't very user friendly when a topic may be pages long.

If you hit the watch this topic button, you will be sent emails whenever there is a new entry
and I think that will take you the the post rather than the first page of the topic.

Failing that, use the page numbers at the bottom to get close.

Been following DSL's adventures and works for me.

Or put a link on your browser favourites bar like this:

You will get the D3 icon on it.

When clicked you will get all new posts in last 5 hours and you can adjust the 5 to whatever you want.

Also there is a LAST POST link to the far right of every topic on the homepages.....

Thanks all but none of those are as handy as just being taken to the last post I haven't read as per other forums. Seems I will just have to live with it though.

Yes, from the thread list in a forum section, or a search/new posts list, click the

icon

This will skip the thread to the first unread post.

Due to image loading it may move off from that first unread post, so refresh the page to jump to the right place again.

Thanks Martin. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to work too well for me. Sometimes it takes me to the last post in a thread, sometimes a post a few above the first unread. Perhaps something to do with my computer settings.
