iPhone 7 to car connect

I have an I phone 7. I briefly and unsuccessfully attempted to get it to link up to the Discovery 3 I just bought . I put up Bluetooth on the phone but it won’t find the car? Do I need to trumps on the car Bluetooth? How do I do that? Please? Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007

How do you know your car has bluetooth?

Do you have the red and green phone buttons to the right of the steering wheel? Mods:
Front Fogs + Halos

Nope. Most posters presume they have telephone because there's a button on the dash. Rolling Eyes
Sounds like you do have phone integration but will probably have to continually pair your phone until the Bluetooth module is swapped out or had its software upgraded.

Try again after a restart, see if you can see the cars Bluetooth. 2121 should have it paired. Mods:

My car has a slot in the centre console box for a phone but I do not have a handset to fit it. I thought I could link my phone up via blue tooth?
Is there a module I need to buy or will it be cheaper to fit a parrot kit? Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE 2007
