[For Sale] 2006 Manual D3. Many extras and mods. Bargain for quick sale
After a fantastic few years as “Landy’s second owner it is time to move on as needs have changed and the new company vehicle arrives soon.
It is a 2006 Black D3 manual S model with lots of extra’s specified from new and many mods done by me, or rather simple mods done my me and the complicated mods done by those who know what they are doing.
Bodywork is in good condition although there are a few small scratches as to be expected of a car like this.
Spec
Cloth interior seats covered with waterproof seat covers from when I bought it.
Front and rear heated seats
Dual climate control
Harmon Kardon stereo system
Front and rear parking sensors
Multi Height Tow bar ( the new type as the old removable one was replaced by Land Rover as part of the recall)
Dual battery set up with split charging system leading to power panel in the rear with 12v and two dual USB sockets as well as voltmeter. This was professionally fitted in 2017 with a new battery.
Full “Land Rover” mats throughout including boot mat. The drivers mat is a bit worn.
Brodit phone clip purchased to suit iPhone 6 but my Samsung S* fits just as well
FBH control fitted by Bodsy
Prospeed Rock and tree sliders fitted.
RLD spare wheel protector
V8 disc upgrade on the front. I never felt the need to modify the rear as the braking is excellent.
Mounts and wiring in for Land Rover front spot lights. I broke these recently so while they are in the picture below they are no longer fitted to the car.
Front head light guards. I took the rears off as they are more trouble than they are worth although I will supply them.
Prospeed roof rack
Prospeed rear ladder.
Safari snorkel (professionally fitted)
EGR’s blanked
Both keys supplied (one of which recently refurbished)
Parrot Asteroid fitted by Bodsy. (This wasn’t the best purchase as while it works for phone and sat nav the music doesn’t play through the amplifier when blue toothed to it. Parrot told me this is correct!
Half height dog guard
FSH history and all receipts for work supplied.
I bought the vehicle on 31/12/13 and since then have:
Serviced the vehicle more often than specified by Land Rover
Replaced timing belts in 2014
New front suspension arms in 2014
New wheel bearings in 2014 as well as tie rods and roll bar bushes
Replaced spare wheel winch
Replaced clutch and flywheel in 2016
Replaced rear axle stubs in 2016
Replaced fog lamps with genuine Land Rover in 2016
Fitted Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tyres in 2016
New alternator fitted in 2015
New prop shaft 2017
Low pressure fuel pump replaced in 2014
New park brake module professionally fitted in 2016
New rear disks and pads fitted yesterday (9th January)
New NSF door actuator fitted two weeks ago
New tailgate latch fitted 2017
Loads of receipts for servicing and small parts supplied.
Faultmate FCR unlocked for this vehicle only supplied with the car.
Faults. FBH fires up on the button but doesn’t stay on. This is well documented and a “how to” is in the forums Wiki.
The washer bottle leaks. If I get a bit of time at the weekend I will try and fix this.
MOT passed on 19th December 2018 so a few weeks short of 12 months MOT.
Current mileage 165,210 although I am using the vehicle so this will change slightly
Price. I would rather this very well loved D3 goes to a good home with someone on here so a bargain at £4995, especially considering the value of all the extras.

Hi Gary,
I will take a load of pictures and put them up tomorrow as won't be home until its dark today.
Just remembered; suspension compressor was replaced in 2017 and new receiving tank last year too.

I believe the oil pump was done when the belts were changed. I shall check

Let me know if you would like further pics of any specific part.
I only used/ specified that oem or equivalent standard parts were fitted to this vehicle. I will be able to check oil pump tomorrow when I am back in Newcastle and can get into my office to see the receipts.

Hi does the car have auto lights would you be avalible next Saturday so I can come and have alook would it be a problem if I bought a friend with me who knows more than I do about the d3
