| Help with Waeco CF40 fridge - No power |

Any thought son this issue I'm getting?
For a little while now, when you plug in the mains cable, it doesn't come on all the time, so I had to wiggle the cable (Where it goes into the fridge) a little and eventually the LED display would come on and the fridge would work
Planning on using it tomorrow, so popped out now to turn it on and did the usual wiggle, and LED came on, turned it down to -5 and left it in the garage. Popped out later to see how it was doing and LED power light off and condenser not working away 
Tried wiggling the cable and nothing, although I do hear some 'electrical type noise coming from where the cable goes into fridge....checked fuse in the plug and in the fridge, but both are fine
Tried then to ply the 12v cable in and nothing at all - so fridge seems to be dead
Anybody got any experience with these or any thoughts? It's an expensive bit of kit, so hoping it's not dead! Sounds like power is not getting through, is there another fuse or anything I can check, open it up perhaps?
