I don't really see these 2 products as competitors, as you can quite easily use both
Once the fridge version of the xanadoo is available I'll be taking one too (so long as you make a slide to go with it )
I have the xanadoo and the mantec both on order.
Can think of lots of nicknacks to go up there out of the way - hence the purchase.D3 07 SE - still going strong

Got one in the mail: planning to mount a couple of radios in it.2016 D4 Landmark SDV6 (Euro6), Zanzibar (late run D4)
2009 D4 HSE TDV6, Bali blue (first run D4)
2007 RRS TDV8 HSE, some blue
.
May have one of these available very soon as it doesn't fit with a full height dog guard fitted in the G4....... no mention of it not fitting on the Mantec website, and the guys at flatdog didn't know at the time either....
I paid £185.00 at P'boro, it's never been fitted, only unwrapped and still have the large box it came in with all fittings.......
Hoping Mantec get the new version out soon!!G4OC Secretary

Have now fitted mine and it is a handy space for useful nicknacks you want in the car all the time - but out of the way and you effectively maintain a "clean" boot all the time.
Mine arrived without the fittings and instructions but flatdog sorted that our pretty quick.
The biggest disappointment is that it is mounted on the ceiling using slightly longer self tappers. To me this makes it feel "fragile" and not up to anything heavy.
Overall though I am happy and glad I got it.D3 07 SE - still going strong

I can swing my 14st lardy body off any of the grab handles, so I really didn't see any issue with the load lugga loaded up with a few bits and bobs being fixed in the same way.

To be honest, have never sat in the third row of a disco. Ever.
Anyway..
It's a great bit of kit - just probably not for your ultra heavy recovery gear.
Have xanadoo on the way too. Also a superb bit of kit.D3 07 SE - still going strong

Have looked at this problem as have a Travail Guard in place. It looks to me the Landrover one slopes back into the load space area more than the Travail one, which is more upright.
