Thinking of a warranty on my new to me D3
09 HSE , 111k , FLDH bar the last PDI service from the dealer I bought from
I did a quote with WD
they only offer Majorcare and want £470 pa
fair enough but I will hang on for a better offer
ive read the T&C section , my worry is the point that it must have been serviced to the manufacturer schedule , expected that , it was untill the dealer I got it from got involved
he serviced it 4 months before it was due , Lr dealer did the big one with belts in October 15
So im over due the historic anual service that LR did
I have a bill from the indie that did the July 16 service and he stamped the book , sort of
question is if I ever made a cliam is there room for a fob off in the service history?
WD state it must be a detailed bill including oil type and amount
I have amount and it states low ash 5/30 is it enough detail?
never bothered with a warranty before as i can sort most things with direction
anyone got major care , cant seem to find cliam limit iether
dont want to buy something I cant use through the above
any advice appreciated guys

Can't say about Warranty Direct but I'm with Warranty Wise, on my recent claim for cracked inlet manifold all they wanted was a copy of the last page of the service book to prove the service had been done and on time and that it had had been carried out by a VAT registered company
