Discovery 4 seats fitted in my Discovery 3 |
|
Hi,
I've just fitted seven new Discovery 4 seats into my Discovery 3. But although the old passenger seat was electric it only seems to go half way back and will not lower of tilt? (girlfreinds only 5ft2" so she loves it but it looks odd!). My question is what do i need to change wire wise to make most, if not all, the Discovery 4 seat functions work?
I have do a search but could only find others asking if the seats would fit nothing much on what to do once fitted.
Thanks

Hi Little will,
I know your post is from a year ago but did the Discovery 4 seats fit straight in, a straight swap? The bolts, physical dimensions ?
I have a GS so it's just manual seats so won't have the issues you had with the electrics.
Any help would be appreciated
Cheers
Ross

Hi there,
Yes the seats were a straight swap and in my opinion one of (second to the door cards and steering wheel) the best mods that can be done to the D3. Mine were electric and I still haven't got the drivers one working as it should soooo be aware of that...

Is it that it moves but only in bursts? Or doesn’t move at all? Bodsys Brake Bible

Under my drivers seat I seem to be missing the large black plug (module thing) that all the retro fit guides say you need to tap into to get the short bursts so currently it is set to a comfy position but cant be moved when/if anyone else needs to drive it. Any help on this would be great!
