Oh learned tent sages help please
The boss (SWMBO) has said that I might be able to go camping with the naughty boys club more next year if I buy a more substantial tent and the Ice Feast could be on the list (it is already ), I see many on here are using OZ tents are there any others that are worth a look at as well please

I have a. Cheap as chips Vango tunnel tent. It's never leaked, packs up small enough to fit in my rucksack, has a 3 man sleeping space, and a porch.
I can't put a stove in it, and I don't need a roof rack to carry It!!
However, an oz might be better because you can stand up in it and it will survive a nuclear holocaust. However, I did 2 trips to Morroco with a 35 quid pop up tent from Decathlon. It wasn't until the sandstorm that I even considered anything else.

Worked out I've used my RV3 for over 120 nights since I bought it in 2008. Only problems were zip related, needing zipnsave for vertical zip in the tent last year and a new carry bag this year.

i dropped a right clanger
saw a tent on ebay some 2 years back and the guy just wished to get shot of it , so was cheap as chips
he said it was a four persons one, thought ideal , plenty of room for the dogs
won't be that big , famous last words
when i then put the thing up i thought oops , it might just be too big
will be good to get a smaller one, can't put this one up on my own
hope it wasnt rude of me posting in this thread
will make sure i get another pic with my pride and joy D3 next to it
