I was talking to the local towie today and he said that
he had to tow a new D3 to Canberra.
The owner had stopped at some road works near Bodalla
and when he went to take off the auto wouldnt allow
him to engage a gear, he tried shutting it down and restarting but to no avail
Appparantly hes from Emerald in Qld and has been on an extended trip thru
the deserts ect . Lucky it didnt happen in desert
Anyone else had this problem.

I had it happen to mine, sometimes it felt as if it was a manual with a slipping clutch. Dealer fitted a modified gear selector cable - it is a known fault, the early type is prone to seizing.
