Recovery service prices
Just had my annual recovery renewal from the AA, two drivers £276, seems a bit steep to me particularly as I've only used them once in the last ten years and that wasn't for the Disco, any cheaper options or recommendations?It can when others can't,

Have a look on their website to see what you can get the same cover for as a new member - it will be much cheaper than that - phone them and tell them you want the same deal as a reward for your loyalty - I have done that every year for the past 10 years or so and they have agreed to reduce the price on every occasion without fail

hi mate i renewed mine on the 14 of dec i phoned them up to cancel and they dropped the price alot pay 10pcm which is not bad....so get on the blower and tell them your not happy with the price

I use AutoAid, £42.54 a year, nationwide recovery for me and the wife, driving any vehicle including trailer/caravan. Used them for years and can thoroughly recommend them.

sorry mate forgot to say that has warranty with it up to 1500 on repairs and can use a garage of my choice not that i am going to use it lol

I'm same...shocking amount of money.
Hate this culture that you have to phone around everywhere for every service.
Loyalty means absolutely nothing these days.

Need to get the wife's clubcard details for that !

Done it that way for many years, apart from when we got AA soooooper cheap after the BMW factory cover expired, even though we'd sold it two years before.

AA spawn of the devil, I cancelled them years ago, the non stop calls and messages went on for months and I would never use them again ever for this one reason alone.

You could also have tried going through a site such as Topcashback. Think I paid about £120 but got £40ish back. Deal changes all the time though and the cash back took about 12 weeks. Still...
