[For Sale] Engel MT45F-G3-DM 12/240v Fridge Freezer and accesories
I'm having a bit of a clear-out and this is unfortunately taking up too much space.
Hardly used, in perfect working order an Engel 44ltr mobile fridge/freezer, insulating cover, leads
and the vehicle mounting plate that has never been used.
Due to it's size and weight this is collection only, localish meet up/drop off can be arranged.

Having done the exact same thing a few times (that's why we bought it) the answer is yes.
On a couple of occasions we've taken it out of the car and plugged it in at the hotel, but it seemed pointless as it's ridiculously well insulated. The padded foil jacket also helps.

Fabulous bits of kit. We have two, one in the camping trailer which gets used as a freezer, the second is permanently mounted in place of the 2nd row middle seat and serves as a fridge on camping trips and shopping trips when chilled or frozen goods are purchased.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I know it's not the recommended way, but my D4 has the internal sockets modded to be live all the time (bridge wire in place of relay) When we went up to Scotland last year, we had a couple of overnight stops where I left the fridge in the car and plugged in. I just turned it down to minimum. Car started fine the following day.
