A new advert stateside. Laird Hamilton is a famous big wave surfer / waterman. Roof rack looks way to high and tacked on - really miss the low profile of the D2 racks.

The tailgate is definitely going to be an issue for surfers though, it will hit anything that oversails the roof racks at the rear when it opens, not good!

I think Laird must have cringed doing this promo. Of all the beaches to do a feature and they shoot it at a crappy beach break, freezing water, and barely competent surfers as extras.
